Hong Kong College of Radiologists (the “College”) is committed to complying with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (the “Ordinance”) and observing the relevant codes of practice which may be issued by the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data from time to time.

For different purposes and at different times you may be invited to provide personal data to the College. Personal data may include name, telephone / fax number, mailing address or e-mail address. The College will specify the collection purpose and intended usage of your data.

Our web servers are hardened, protected behind firewalls and monitored. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no data transmission over the internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and privacy cannot be assured in your communication with us.
The College will retain your personal data collected for a period no longer than necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which it is or is to be used. Different retention periods may apply to the various kinds of personal data collected and held by the College with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements observed.
On the other hand, the College’s mobile app ‘HKCR Referral Guidelines’ does not access or retain any personal and user data at all.

In any event of inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of this Privacy Policy, the English version shall prevail.
